Less manual searching and less isolated comparison across external portals.
Estimate from reduced manual review, normalization and operational prioritization.
Normalized, comparable data to reduce discrepancies and duplicates.
Principáu d’Asturies needed to identify vacation rentals and VUT properties in Asturias from information published on portals such as Airbnb and Booking. The challenge was capturing, normalizing and querying data distributed across external sources.
The application was developed with Python, MongoDB and scraping techniques to support property detection, data comparison and operational analysis of the collected information.
The value of the project was turning public, scattered and heterogeneous information into queryable data. That required capture, normalization and storage processes that made it possible to compare results and maintain an organized view of the territory.
The solution provides a support tool for prioritizing reviews, detecting patterns and reducing manual search effort. Instead of depending on isolated queries in each portal, the team can work from a more structured information base oriented toward analysis.
