Juliabo had a complex shoe editor application integrated into Shopify. The challenge was understanding a difficult codebase, implementing changes safely and suggesting improvements that created real product value.

The work combined Shopify, APIs and Java backend development to stabilize the integration and evolve functionality without compromising the buying experience. In addition to solving the initial needs, additional improvements were proposed and left working correctly in production.

The main difficulty was working on an existing application with specific logic and a codebase that required understanding dependencies before changing behavior. The work therefore started by mapping the full editor flow and its connection points with Shopify.

Once the foundation was stabilized, functional improvements could be added with less risk. The result was a more maintainable application, better integrated into the store and ready to keep evolving without relying on fragile or hard-to-control changes.
